New years resolution

Well historically I have been using DeviantArt now for 2 years, and only ever written one journal entry.  Which was supposed to be regularly updated.  Unfortunately life gets in the way sometimes, and instead of updating and posting journals here I have been working shift work full time, studying full time, the arrival of a new puppy, getting married, attending funderals, entertaining the international in-laws, and redesigning and maintaining a new home - no excuse really!
So now that list has halved this year, I am making it my resolution to actually update this journal and be a little more active on DA (and photographically).  So stay tuned for some exciting... er, something.


The following artists have been standouts for me during my travels around DA in the past week or so.  Please help support them and check them out.

1. R-U-m-OU-r : An Australian photographer with a unique eye for the world around her.  Experimenting with different styles and doing them all well, her gallery includes portrature, landscapes, action, emotive, still life and much more.  And thanks to a recently aquired premium membership, you should see more from this exquisite photographer soon.
2. delaneylafae : A deviant of many talents, and it shows in her work too.  She has a dark side, but enjoys the lighter side of life occasionally also.  Very active on DA in numerous groups.
3. holunder : A 16yo photographer who seems to like pastel colouring and has some interesting ideas on subject and composition.  She has a good fun gallery to check out.
